Import Maintenance and Repair
Wheeling Auto Center is a certified Bosch Authorized Service Facility. As one of only 38 Bosch Authorized Service Centers in Illinois, WAC can guarantee its customers the finest quality care for European imports. In its ongoing efforts to offer customers the best in vehicle service, WAC’s employees and facility adhere to all of Bosch’s strict testing standards.
Emissions Test Failure Remediation
Wheeling Auto Center has the tools and training to help your vehicle meet emissions standards and get back on the road. All WAC technicians are IM240 Certified. Each technician has completed technical training and passed the Illinois EPA exam. Prerequisites for IM240 certification include ASE certification in driveabililty and engine performance.
Illinois operates the IM240 testing program to comply with U.S. federal statutes and regulations. Only the testing facilities owned and operated by the State of Illinois have the legally mandated equipment and authority to certify that a vehicle meets the standards.
If your vehicle fails the Illinois EPA test, bring us the drive trace and failure reports that are appended to the notice you receive from the IL EPA test center. WAC has the equipment and certified technicians to diagnose the problems and conduct the appropriate repairs by testing, not guessing.
